CPAC Professional Development Grant

The CPAC Professional Development Grant is designed to offer P&A employees in the College of Education and Human Development funding for activities that will enhance their professional goals and work in the CEHD. Examples for funded opportunities include attending conferences, workshops and seminars; visiting a site to learn from another professional in your field; membership dues to an organization; materials; etc.

Awards will be based upon the dollar amount requested, as well as the number of applications received by CPAC; individual awards are not to exceed $2,000. This is a competitive grant. All applications will be reviewed by members of CPAC and scored on a criteria based on the quality of answers to application questions. Strong applications will clearly, thoroughly, and succinctly address all required questions on the application. Some priority is given to funding strong applicants who have not received CPAC professional development grants in the past; also, individuals who received a CPAC PD Grant last year are not eligible to apply this year. Please note that funds are limited; in past years we have been able to fund about 1/5 of applications.

All questions regarding the grant application should be directed through the CPAC representative for your department or unit.
