- Any technology equipment (computers, laptops, webcams, etc) paid for with any University funding source (sponsored/grant, foundation, non-sponsored funds, professional development funds, etc) is University property and must be returned when faculty, staff, and students leave (resign, retire, appointment ends) the University.
- Computers and related technology owned by the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) are not to be gifted or sold. The legal, technical, and financial overhead generated by the sale or gifting of computers renders such activities impractical from a business perspective with no benefit to the college.
- Technology that is at the end of its useful life cycle or that is being repurposed must be returned to CEHD AIT to ensure that proper data destruction, disposal, or recycling processes are followed in accordance with university policy.
