- University sponsored awards – Please turn materials in to 104 Burton Hall, by the internal CEHD deadline listed after each award. Please note the new submission process for some of the University Sponsored Awards. Please plan accordingly for these earlier due dates for submission materials. All materials being submitted for a University sponsored award must first be approved by the dean before being sent forward for submittal to the provost’s office. If a nomination for a University sponsored award is approved by the dean to be sent forward to the provost’s office, this dossier should be completely compiled by the nominator, then forwarded to Henry Southwick in 104 Burton Hall. The submission of the completed dossier will be made by CEHD dean’s office staff. Nominators should not submit any nomination materials directly to the provost’s office..
- Distinguished McKnight University Professorship – Each department in CEHD may nominate one eligible faculty nominee. Please work with your department chair and administrator to determine who should be nominated. Please notify Henry Southwick at south159@umn.edu Open detailed view by January 3, 2024 if your department plans on sending in a nomination for this faculty award.
- Distinguished McKnight Land-Grant Professorship – Each department in CEHD may nominate one eligible faculty nominee. Please work with your department chair and administrator to determine who should be nominated. Please notify Henry Southwick at south159@umn.edu. Open detailed view by November 1, 2023 if your department plans on sending in a nomination for this faculty award.
- John Tate Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Advising – CEHD deadline for submission of a draft letter of nomination is January 4, 2024. If the candidate is approved for submission of a full dossier based on this letter of nomination, the internal CEHD deadline for submission of the full dossier is January 4, 2024.
- Josie R. Johnson Human Rights and Social Justice Award – This award is usually announced in late August, with a September due date.
- President’s Award for Outstanding Service – CEHD deadline for submission of a draft letter of nomination is TBD. If the candidate is approved for submission of a full dossier based on this letter of nomination, the internal CEHD deadline for submission of the full dossier is TBD.
- President’s Community-Engaged Scholar Award – CEHD deadline for submission of a draft letter of nomination is TBD.
